PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel which suppresses cross talk and ensures high quality image display. SOLUTION: In this plasma display panel 14, barrier ribs 12 are set between a front panel 1 with display electrodes 6 consisting of scanning electrodes 4 and sustaining electrodes 5, and a rear panel 2 with data electrodes 10 crossing the display electrodes 6, both the panels are arranged oppositely, and discharge spaces separated by the barrier ribs 12 are formed.
