PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector constituted so as to be able to split a retainer into a pair of divided bodies, capable of mounting the retainer on a cable in advance with a simple constitution, capable of mounting the retainer to a housing even after crimping the cable on a contact. SOLUTION: The waterproof connector is composed of a contact to which a cable is crimped; a housing having a cavity provided with an opening in which the contact is inserted; a seal member having a through-hole to which the cable is closely contacted in waterproof state, inserted into the opening in a state of inserting the cable into the through-hole; and a retainer having an insertion port through which the cable can be inserted, holding the seal member in a state that the cable is inserted, locked to the housing.
