PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for photosensitive recording medium improving light shielding performance and reducing the assembly man hours. SOLUTION: The cartridge for photosensitive recording medium is provided with: a cartridge body in which an opening part is formed on a side surface of the cartridge with respect to the insertion direction C and a shutter slide surface 26b and a light shielding plate mount surface 26a are formed so as to be offset inwardly on the outer surface; a lid body 21 fixed to the side surface 11c of the cartridge body for closing the opening part; and a shutter and a light shielding plate mounted on the shutter slide surface and the light shielding plate mount surface, respectively. Light shielding plate accommodation grooves 25g, 26g into which the circumferential edge part of the light shielding plate is fitted are formed on the light shielding plate mount surface. A lid body groove part 21c into which the circumferential edge part of the light shielding plate is fitted is also formed on the lid body. When the light shielding plate is inserted into the cartridge body from the side surface at the side of the opening part, and the lid body is fixed to the side surface of the cartridge body so as to be mounted to the opening part, the circumferential edge part of the light shielding plate is fitted into the light shielding plate accommodation grooves and the lid body groove part so that the light shielding plate is fixed.
