PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely measure the oscillating characteristics of a head/gimbal assembly by widening a degree of freedom of a set width of a resonant frequency of a measuring device side. SOLUTION: A device for measuring the oscillating characteristics of the head/gimbal assembly includes: a first laser Doppler vibration meter 9 for detecting an oscillation speed of a shaker 3; a second laser Doppler vibration meter 11 for detecting the oscillation speed of a head part 27 of the head/gimbal assembly 7; and a mirror 35 for reflecting laser light irradiated from the first laser Doppler vibration meter 9 in an orthogonal direction.
