METHOD OF SPRAYING GAS TO SHEET MATERIAL AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a yield mainly in a drying process and in a washing process by properly spraying air to sheet materials to be accurately handled one by one when drying and washing the sheet materials after coating. SOLUTION: A spraying means sprays gas to the ends of the plurality of sheets materials arranged side by side in mutual contact in the thickness direction in regions approximately distributed along the direction of side-by-side arrangement of the plurality of sheet materials. The plurality of spray regions are preferably set perpendicularly to the direction of side-by-side arrangement. The spray regions can be moved reciprocatingly in the direction of side-by-side arrangement and/or in the direction perpendicular thereto. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
