PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sewage intrusion preventing device of a Western style toilet bowl capable of preventing sewage dripping down on the outer side face of the Western style toilet bowl from intruding to a floor by absorbing it and easily treating a used sewage absorbing material. SOLUTION: The sewage intrusion preventing device A of the Western style toilet bowl B includes a holding means 1 freely detachably attached to the outer side face of the skirt part 5 of a toilet bowl body and the sewage absorbing material 3 freely detachably held by the holding means 1 for absorbing the sewage flowing down on the outer side face of the skirt part 5, and the used sewage absorbing material 3 is fed into the toilet bowl and discharged together with toilet waste water. Preferably, the holding means 1 is a flat body and attached to the outer side face front part of the skirt part 5, and an elastic restoration pin 2 to be freely detachably fitted to a hole 4 with a bottom recessed on the skirt part 5 is planted on the back surface of both end parts of the flat body.
