PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escalator handrail belt capable of preventing any falling accident by displaying the moving direction from the front and the side of the handrail belt in an easily visible manner on a surface of the handrail belt. SOLUTION: A printed sheet 6 is disposed on a surface of a handrail belt 5 and is provided with a plurality of direction display marks 6A having different color from that of the handrail belt 5 for displaying the moving direction from a flat surface part to both edges of the handrail belt 5 with a space therebetween so that there is at least one mark in a semicircular range H of an inverted part.
