PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box capable of protecting articles of various sizes by exactly buffering them. SOLUTION: Inner flaps 5 and outer flaps 6 are extended below sidewalls 2 and 3 of a box body 1, and each pair of the inner flaps 5 and the outer flaps 6 are inward folded sequentially to form a bottom wall of the box body 1. A folded part F having lateral mountain-shaped folding lines (a) as a ridge line is provided in the inner flaps 5, and the inner flaps 5 are folded upwardly and outwardly along the folded part F to lay a receiving plate 22 for placing an article between leg plates 9 on the end side. A buffering acceptor 31 is placed on the article and provided with a folded part F having lateral mountain-shaped folding lines (a) as the ridge line along the boundary between the receiving plate 32 and the leg plate 33. The leg plate 33 is folded upwardly and inwardly from the receiving plate 32 abutting on the article along the folded part F so that repulsive force of the folded part F works on the receiving plates 22 and 32 as the box body 1 is sealed.
