Previewing in live electronic commerce environment

A method for previewing electronic commerce content in a live electronic commerce environment is provided. A preview mode is selected on a live electronic commerce server, which invokes a preview application. A unique user session associated with a user is created for the preview mode. A user request is verified to ensure that the request originates from the user associated with unique user session. The request is dispatched to an electronic commerce application on the live electronic server and the request is executed.
