FLUSH TANK DEVICE

A flush tank device with a flush mode switchover cup, in which flush water is appropriately saved by making the amount of the flush water controllable according to conditions of an installation site. The flush tank device has a ball tap, a float valve (32) and the flush mode switchover cup (46) for switching between large wash and small wash, and a switchover valve (68). In the small wash, the flush mode switchover cup (46) functions as a weight applied to a float valve body (34) of the float valve and quickly causes the valve body (34) to be seated at a valve closure position, thereby limiting the discharge amount of the flush water to a low level. On the other hand, in the large wash, the flush mode switchover cup (46) slowly closes the float valve body (34) by opening a drain hole, thereby allowing a large amount of flush water for the large wash to be discharged. The flush mode switchover cup (46) has a lower cup (52) and an upper cup (54), and the upper cup (54) is formed detachable from the lower cup (52). When the upper cup (54) is fitted to the lower cup, the upper cup (54) can function as the flush mode switchover cup.
