A method for manufacturing a light cover is provided to increase diffused reflection and scattering efficiency of light by forming a translucent scattering unit of a net pattern and a rotary translucent scattering unit. A method for manufacturing a light cover includes the steps of: arranging an acrylic plate between a lower mold(11) and an upper mold(13); interposing a mesh of a net pattern between the acrylic plate and the upper mold(13); forming a translucent scattering unit on a flat plane of the acrylic plate by forming and thermal-compressing the mesh at a high temperature atmosphere of 170-190 degrees centigrade; and forming a rotary translucent scattering unit by interposing and thermal-compressing the mesh which is rotated between the lower mold(11) and the acrylic plate at a predetermined angle.
