PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor capable of reducing a sliding loss while ensuring a sealing property on a thrust sliding face. SOLUTION: Minute tapered parts 6d, 9c and 21c are formed at in each edge on a sliding face 26 on which a turning scroll 9 is pressed against a fixed scroll 6 and turns and slides to increase the pressure of an oil film by generating dynamic pressure in not only an outer peripheral part and a central part of a turning scroll lap supporting disc 9b but also each edge and reduce the sliding loss of the whole sliding face 26.
