PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welded plated steel pipe whose weld zone is repaired by a thermal spraying layer having excellent corrosion resistance and satisfactory workability. SOLUTION: The welded plated steel pipe P is made from a plated steel strip provided with a Zn-Al-Mg alloy plating layer 11, and the weld zone freed from the plating layer 11 by a bead cut after welding and the vicinity of the weld zone are provided with a thermal spraying repair layer 14 of an Al-Mg alloy.
