PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress with a deodorizing function suitable for mass production. SOLUTION: In the mattress 1 composed by constituting a spring unit 2 by connecting many coil springs 5 and covering the spring unit 2 with an exterior body 3, a deodorant is applied (a liquid deodorant 9 is applied, for instance) to the surfaces of the coil springs 5.
