<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage steel frame structure materials of steel frame architecture as components depending on processing difficulties using IC chips to improve productivity and reduce distribution costs. <P>SOLUTION: Steel materials from a manufacturer that received an order from a construction company are attached with IC chips accessible from a host computer of a constructor. Steels are classified into pillars and beams. Depending on processing difficulties, major simple processing is left to manufactures and wholesalers and directly transported to a construction site. Difficult main processing is assigned to production factories and then transported to a construction site. Thereby, processing is efficiently performed and transportation distances are shortened to reduce transportation costs. Quality certificates, carriers, truck numbers, move positions and times of steel materials, flows of steel materials, types and situations of processing, inspection records of results, and payment money are input into IC chips to allow a constructor to always grasp and manage them. As a result, quality assurance is surely checked, costs of steel frame architecture are greatly reduced through productivity improvement, and CO2-reduced earth friendly construction execution is realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
