<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method and a printing machine not discarding even sheets of paper printed during changing the speed of the sheets of paper. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of register marks printed on the sheets of paper are monitored during changing the speed of the sheets of paper, the deviation of the distance between the register marks measured relating to the plurality of register marks and a predetermined allowable value are compared, when it is determined that the deviation is the range of the allowable value or more, the speed change of the sheets of paper is stopped once while continuing constant speed operation, and register correction is carried out by controlling the various kinds of rollers in the printing machine such that the deviation quantity between the distance between the register marks and an initial set value determined in advance becomes a predetermined value or less, when an absolute value of the deviation measured relating to the register mark does not exceed the range of the allowable value the speed change of the sheet of paper is repeatedly started again, the sheet of paper is cut by a folding machine 6 while the speed change of the sheets of paper is carried out step by step to constant operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
