<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate device requiring smaller installation space. <P>SOLUTION: The gate device comprises doors for controlling passage of users by opening and closing, and a drive means for driving the doors between a close state wherein the doors project to the side of a housing and a open state wherein the doors are housed in the housing. The doors comprise the left side door for the left side of the housing and the right side door for the right side of the housing with respect to the direction of user passage. The left side door and the right side door are disposed in the direction of user passage. The drive means drives the right side door to project toward the left side door of a gate device of the same kind placed adjacent to the housing with inclined to the direction of user passage, and drives the left side door to project toward the right side door of another gate device of the same kind placed adjacent to the housing with inclined to the direction of user passage, when closed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
