PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve high-frequency spurious suppressing performance for third and higher harmonics without greatly altering an existing structure. SOLUTION: A thin metal plate 5 is interposed in a hollow part between upper and lower blocks 3 of a waffle iron type waveguide low-pass filter. Consequently, a transversal electric field component generated in the waffle iron type waveguide low-pass filter can be canceled to improve the high-frequency spurious suppressing performance for third and higher harmonics.
