PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of easily carrying out coordination of data in a design support system. SOLUTION: In the design support system composed of a design system (a CAD system) and an evaluation system (a CAE system), association of a CAD data file and a component is defined in a parts list, and an arrangement attribute indicating placement is added to a component plurally used in one product. In a registering means, on the basis of the parts list, conversion is carried out from a format of including a plurality of shape data and a plurality of placement data in one CAD data file, to a format of including one shape data and one placement data in one CAD data file, and it is registered in the evaluation system.
