PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood processing filter apparatus by which a removed object in blood can be effectively removed and the blood left in the apparatus after processing can be effectively discharged by cleaning processing using a physiological solution such as physiological saline. SOLUTION: The blood processing filter apparatus has following constitutions of (1) and (2). (1) A cylindrical filter material is constituted by winding the lamination of a blood processing filter layer and a spacer layer through which blood can flow easily compared to the blood processing filter layer, where the end portion of the spacer layer is exposed to the outer peripheral face of the cylindrical filter material, both end faces in a longitudinal direction of the cylindrical filter material are liquid-hermetically sealed, the ventilation resistance of the blood processing filter layer increases from the outer peripheral face to the inner peripheral face of the cylindrical filter material. (2) A container has a blood inlet and a blood outlet and houses the cylindrical filter material, the blood inlet is in communication with an outer peripheral face side space of the cylindrical filter material, and the blood outlet is in communication with an inner peripheral face side space of the cylindrical filter material.
