The chemical-volatilizing apparatus (10) comprises a case (11) having suction ports (20, 21) and discharge ports (22, 22), a cross flow fan (14) disposed in the case (11) and connected to the rotating shaft (15a) of a motor (15), and a chemical holding body (17) disposed on the suction port (20, 21) side of the case (11) in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the cross flow fan (14).
