A mold for manufacturing a light cover is provided to increase efficiency of diffused reflection and scattering of light by forming a translucent scattering unit and a transparent unit on a border of the translucent scattering unit. A mold for manufacturing a light cover includes a lower mold(11) and an upper mold(13) which form an acrylic circular plate by thermal compression. The lower mold(11) has a patternless transparent forming groove(15) to form a transparent unit of the light cover on a border. The upper mold(13) has a vacant space corresponding to the transparent forming groove(15), and has a plurality of pattern forming grooves(19) to form a translucent scattering unit of the light cover on an inner side of the upper mold(13). A bending forming groove having an uneven pattern or the pattern forming groove(19) is formed on an inner side of the transparent forming groove(15) of the lower mold(11). A second transparent forming groove is formed on the inner side of the transparent forming groove(15). |
