摘要 <p>An air bag housing structure of a passenger seat is provided to minimize deployment pressure applied to a seat occupant during deployment of an air bag, and to protect the seat occupant even when the pressure of gas supplied from an inflator is low. An air bag housing structure of a passenger seat includes an air bag housing(100), an isolating plate(20), a cover plate(40), and a diffuser. The air bag housing has vent holes(10) formed along the lengthwise direction of an air bag housing body(110) equipped with an air bag for protecting the seat occupant on the passenger seat. The isolating plate is mounted on an air bag housing arranged inside the vent holes such that the isolating plate is movable to the inside and outside of the vent hole. The cover plate is arranged in a slot(30) formed on the air bag housing body, and has a size covering the area of the vent hole. The diffuser has one end fixed at the outside of the air bag housing and bent along the shape of the inner surface of the air bag housing and the other end connected to the cover plate so as to move the cover plate in a forward direction by gas generated from an inflator.</p>
