<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure information security in a copying machine by making sure of what document and when the document is tried to be copied in an unauthorized manner. <P>SOLUTION: When a pattern detection section of an IPP 5 of an image processing apparatus detects a specified pattern in image data obtained by scanning a document, the image data are stored in a limited memory 60 which requires a password and a reset key. The reset key of the limited memory 60 is transmitted to only a terminal personal computer PC (#1)12 of an administrator A having a special authority corresponding to a user together with the time when an unauthorized scan is made, user information, etc. The administrator A can access the limited memory 60 to browse and delete the image data and so on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
