<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set providing an image having excellent hue, light resistance and gas fastness, and hardly having defects as the image quality such as bleeding of a fine line, and having improved image preservability under a severe condition. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set has a yellow ink composition containing, for example, a compound of general formula (1), and C.I Direct Yellow 132 and/or C.I.
