<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct liquid fuel cell which has a simple structure, removes metal ions melted into liquid fuel from a battery component, and exhausts carbon dioxide generated by battery reaction to the outside of the battery. <P>SOLUTION: This liquid fuel cell comprises an anode electrode and a cathode electrode via an electrolyte membrane with a fuel tank in proximity of the anode electrode. The fuel tank is equipped with a gas vent for exhausting carbon dioxide generated by the anode electrode to the outside of the tank, a gas-liquid separation member not passing liquid but gas is provided in the proximity of the gas vent, and an absorbing agent is loaded into the fuel tank to collect metal ions in that tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
