CROSS-LINKED ELECTROLYTE FILM AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross-linked electrolyte film with high proton conductivity with electrolyte densely filled in a porous base material and with fuel permeability further restrained, and to provide its manufacturing method and a fuel cell using the cross-linked electrolyte film.

SOLUTION: Of the cross-linked electrolyte film, with a fluid proton-dissociative vinyl monomer and a copolymer mainly composed of a fluid cross-linking agent practically insoluble to water with wettability to a hydrophobic porous base material and having at least two double bonds in one molecule filled in a hydrophobic porous base material, an EW of the electrolyte film is 350 to 600 with a water content of 15 to 35%.
