<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for collecting garbage block of a nonvolatile memory according to the power state and a method of collecting the same, more particularly, the apparatus where power consumption of a portable device is reduced by adjusting operation for collecting the garbage block based on the power state of the portable device, and which collects garbage block of the nonvolatile memory according to the power state and the method of collecting the same. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus collects garbage block of the nonvolatile memory according to the power state includes: the nonvolatile memory in which predetermined data is stored; and a power managing unit which collects a physical block allocated to the nonvolatile memory based on the power state of the portable device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
