PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera that can prevent sounds produced inside a body from being delivered to a microphone, and to provide electronic equipment. SOLUTION: An opening 122 of a microphone rubber 120 is provided with a tapered face 124, whereby the inner diameter of the opening 122 is greater toward a front cover 200. A bottomed cylindrical microphone rubber press contact part 210 projected backwardly is provided to an inner face of a front cover 200. When the front cover 200 is fitted to a body 100, a bottom 212 of the microphone rubber press contact part 210 enters inside of the opening 122 of the microphone rubber 120, and a curved part 214 is pressed into contact with the tapered face 124 to press the tapered face 124. The microphone rubber press contact part 210 is abutted against the entire circumference of the inner circumferential face of the opening 122. Since the sounds, produced inside a camera 1 such as operation sound of a lens drive mechanism 102, are shut off by the microphone rubber 120 and the microphone rubber press contact part 210, the sound will not reach a sound collecting face 111 of a microphone 110.
