PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a recommended route not being fixed by an existing transit point. SOLUTION: Along with calculating a first recommended route for reaching a destination via a transit point set on the basis of directions from a user; this device calculates a second recommended route capable of reaching the destination from a current vehicle location without passing through the set transit point during travelling of the vehicle, and presents the second recommended route to the user, if the device judges that the vehicle can reach the destination earlier by the second recommended route than by the first recommended route, and that it does not matter if the existing transit point is erased on the basis of a transit point setting method.
