PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a proper recommendation route, when adding a new via-point to the recommendation route based on instruction from a user. SOLUTION: When receiving from the user a request for adding a new via-point (hereafter referred to as the new via-point) to the recommendation route operated already, a plurality of recommendation routes passing the new via-point are operated based on the passing spot on the recommendation route operated already, a destination and the present place of a vehicle, and the optimum recommendation route is selected from among the operated plurality of recommendation routes.
