FUEL PLATE ASSEMBLY AND DEOXIDIZING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an uncomplicated fuel plate and sealing gasket structure effective and profitable for improving the deoxidization of fuel in an airplane fuel system. SOLUTION: Fuel flowing in a fuel flow path 38 in a fuel flow path assembly 34 of a fuel deoxidizing device has contact with an oxygen permeable film 36. The pressure gradient of oxygen partial pressure is formed between the fuel flow path 38 and the oxygen permeable film 36 by pressure reduction. Thereby, dissolved oxygen in the fuel which causes caulking is removed. A first flow path plate 52 and a second flow path plate 54 each have a flow path impingement element 55 for forming a turbulent flow of fuel. Thereby, the contact of the fuel flow with the oxygen permeable film 36 is enhanced to increase the mass transportation of the dissolved oxygen. A fuel plate and a sealing gasket are provided for allowing easy manufacture of the assembly which improves deoxidization. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
