PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of malfunction in a sliding part between a fixed scroll and a movable scroll and improve the durability of a compressor, by appropriately supplying oil to the sliding part between the fixed scroll and the movable scroll and appropriately retaining oil in the sliding part even in compressor operation with small amounts of refrigerant gas and oil. SOLUTION: This scroll compressor has a compressing mechanism provided with the fixed scroll and the movable scroll. An oil supplying passage which connects between the lower and upper parts of the compressing mechanism and supplies oil introduced from an oil sump part in the lower part of the compressing mechanism to the upper part of the compressing mechanism is provided in the fixed scroll.
