PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed inhibitor which does not adversely affect the human body and the environment and has excellent weed inhibition. SOLUTION: This weed inhibitor is obtained by aerobically fermenting raw bean-curd refuse. The weed inhibitor has a water content of not more than 5% and an amino acid content of not less than 20%. The amino acid comprises arginine, lysine, histidine, phenylalanine, tyrosine, leucine, isoleucine, methionine, valine, alanine, glycine, proline, glutamic acid, serine, threonine, aspartic acid, tryptophan, and cystine.
