DEVICE FOR TESTING TABLET DISINTEGRATING IN ORAL CAVITY

It is intended to provide a device for testing a tablet disintegrating in the oral cavity whereby a high reproducibility of the test and a high accuracy can be ensured when a tablet sample is moistened at the beginning of a disintegration test on the tablet sample. This device comprises: a sample receiver (14) having a hole (14c), through which a test solution can penetrate, formed therein and a part on which the table sample (S) is placed; a sample table (13) which is filled with the test solution and in which the sample receiver (14) is set on the liquid surface; a liquid surface-measuring system (15) which is provided with a weight (4) for pressing downward the tablet sample and by which the liquid surface of the test solution is adjusted a definite distance below the bottom face of the sample receiver (14) when the sample receiver (14) is set in the sample table (13) before the beginning of the test; and a liquid surface-rising block (7) by which the liquid surface is risen to the position at the bottom face of the sample receiver (14) at the beginning of a disintegration test on the tablet sample.
