The supply unit has a fuel pump arranged in a swirl pot (1), and a pipe section of the swirl pot partially receives the fuel pump. A base plate is provided, which closes the pipe section downward of the swirl pot. An ejector pump is provided for filling the swirl pot with fuel from the fuel container. The components of the ejector pump are made single piece with a base plate (9) of the swirl pot, and the base plate and the pipe section (10) are designed as independently manufactured components and the base plate has a sealing edge (14) connected with the pipe section of the swirl pot.
