<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove aberrations by using an aberration correction component and reduce the thickness of the whole device. <P>SOLUTION: This optical information processing device has a deflector to deflect the laser beam emitted by a light source toward the optical disk, an imaging means to image the deflected laser beam on the optical disk, an aberration correcting means to correct the aberrations occurring in the light path, between the light source and the disk, maintained optically in a constant positional relationship relative to the imaging means in a predetermined direction.
