<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a further compact heat pump water heater, by effectively using a space around a compressor, by restraining heat radiation from the compressor while restraining the thermal insulation thickness, by thermally insulating the compressor by a vacuum thermal insulation material, in this water heater. <P>SOLUTION: The compressor 2 is covered with a composite thermal insulation material 51. Since the composite thermal insulation material 51 is composed of the vacuum thermal insulation material 52 being a shape thinner than an ordinary thermal insulation material, a sound absorbing thermal insulation material 53 absorbing noise generated from the compressor 2 and a vibration control material 54 relieving swinging of the compressor 2, the space around the compressor 2 can be effectively used, and is useful for the further compact heat pump water heater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
