<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for downloading font data so that print-out can be performed without degrading picture quality and moreover at a suitable printing speed. <P>SOLUTION: When the setting of a printing condition is instructed before print-out, a printing condition setting interface part 151 displays a printing condition setting screen including a font processing selection screen. On the font processing selection screen, an operator can select a font processing method to be applied from a predetermined items when a font which is not stored in an output device 20 is included in a document. Further, the operator can configure the setting by specifying a desired size so that a font stored in the output device 20 is substituted for a font of the specified size or less. A conversion part 155 converts a document prepared by an application part 130 into a printing job including a control code, image data, etc. for the output device 20 on the basis of a condition set on the printing condition setting screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
