KDR PEPTIDE AND VACCINE CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peptide targeting a VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) receptor 2 strongly expressing in an endothelial cell of tumor tissue and effective as a cancer vaccine and provide a medicine containing the peptide and useful for the treatment or prevention of tumor.

SOLUTION: The invention provides a peptide or decapeptide composed of a specific amino acid sequence derived from a VEGF receptor 2, a peptide having an amino acid sequence derived from the above amino acid sequences by substitution or addition of one to several amino acids and having cytotoxic T cell inducing activity, and a vaccine containing the peptide as an active component.
