<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable sheath stripper which can easily peel off a sheath without damaging a soft copper tape inside the sheath. <P>SOLUTION: This cable sheath stripper 1 has a metallic rotary disc 4 round in plan view. The rotary disc 4 is 0.3-1.0 mm in thickness of its peripheral edge, and it is made so that the peripheral face may constitute a cylindrical smooth face parallel with a rotating shaft 31, and it is constituted to shave off the sheath 96 while softening the surface of the sheath 96 with the frictional heat between the rotary disc 4 and the sheath 96 by rotating this rotary disc 4 and pressing the above peripheral face against the sheath 96 of a cable 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
