<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an access controller capable of performing an authentication process based on a unique number after revision, whether the unique number stored in a portable medium for authentication is before the revision or after the revision. <P>SOLUTION: This access controller comprises a personal information database which stores a personal information table which associates the unique number, a personal number, and passing conditions, an update setting terminal which manages updating of the personal information table, a unique number reading part which reads the unique number from the portable medium for authentication, and a terminal controller which unlocks an electric lock and permits access when the read unique number is identical to the unique number included in the personal information table and fulfills the passing conditions. The update setting terminal manages setting using a number consisting of the personal number and combination of the number of times of updating as the unique number. The terminal controller performs an authentication process using a new unique number with making the number of times of updating +1 when the authentication result of the unique number is not identical. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
