PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical path opening/shutting device capable of achieving the smooth opening/shutting operation of a blade member by preventing the interference of superposed blade members with each other, and an imaging apparatus equipped with such an optical path opening/shutting device. SOLUTION: The optical path opening/shutting device 1 is equipped with a film-like combined blade 10 for opening/shutting the aperture of an optical path with its turning, and a pair of bottom boards A30 and B50 for holding the combined blade 10 in between. A pair of blades (X blade and Y blade) not superposed at an open limit but superposed in the middle of closing operation exists in the combined blade. A long projected line 37 supporting the surface of the Y blade for making the X blade enter the lower surface of the Y blade in such a state that the Y blade is made to float relatively to the X blade is formed on the bottom board A30. Since the blade member 11 is supported to be lifted over a wide range by the long projected line 37, a situation that the end of the X blade collides with the end of the Y blade and the blades interfere with each other is avoided.
