PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accident point locating system that reduces facility cost and secures the reliability of a locating arithmetic result of a transmission line, having suffered a system accident. SOLUTION: A state amount of a power system, obtained by a terminal device 1 of each terminal in the power system, is input to a locating arithmetic device 60, and an accident point is located. The terminal device 1 comprises an A/D conversion means 42, a sampling-synchronizing means 41 for synchronizing signals between a plurality of terminals, an accident detecting means 43 for detecting accident of the power system, a means 44 for storing data at the accident time of the power system, and means 45 and 48 for transmitting or receiving a signal between it and the locating arithmetic device. The locating arithmetic device comprises a means for transmitting or receiving a signal between it and a plurality of terminal devices, a means for collecting data at the system accident time stored in each terminal device based on information transmitted from each terminal device and preset power system constitution information, a means 66 for determining internal accident of collected data, and a means 67 for performing the accident point locating based on the determination of the internal accident.
