PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device for improving palatability and doneness of a heated object after heating by heating the object while properly wetting it. SOLUTION: Corona discharge between a ground electrode 24 and an ionizing needle 26 negatively charges water vapor generated from a water vapor generating means 8. The water vapor evaporating from the heated object is predisposed to be negatively charged and then condensed in a heating chamber or exhausted to the outside of the heating chamber. On the other hand, moisture positively charged remains on the surface of the heated object and so the water vapor generated from the water vapor generating means 8 and negatively charged is easily adsorbed onto the surface of the heated object positively charged.
