<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which can gain an appropriate engine output regardless of an operating condition of an internal combustion engine in a turbine of a supercharger which can switch two flow passages or adjust flow rate of exhaust passing through each flow passage. <P>SOLUTION: The turbine is equipped with a first flow passage having two turbine scrolls (2a, 2b) and a second flow passage (2g) having a single turbine scroll. When engine rotation speed of an internal combustion engine is low, exhaust is passed through the first flow passage to suppress exhaust interference. When the engine rotation speed of an internal combustion engine is high, the exhaust is passed through the second flow passage to reduce flow passage resistance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
