PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force connection/disconnection device which is high in safety concerning switching operation and a disconnection failure of an ignition by a simple configuration reduced in the number of components. SOLUTION: In the driving force connection/disconnection device for a vehicle which includes a clutch capable of connecting or disconnecting the transmission of a driving force on a transmission mechanism transmitting the driving force of an electric motor to a driving wheel and a hydraulic servo mechanism, the device is provided with a shift valve 120 which actuates the hydraulic servo mechanism by switching a supply oil pathway supplying oil to the hydraulic servo mechanism and a solenoid controlled valve 105 which on/off-controls signal pressure which allows the shift valve to perform the switching actuation of the supply oil pathway. The device is configured so as to lead the oil pathway introducing the signal pressure into the solenoid controlled valve 105 from an oil pathway 104 which is connected with a hydraulic pump P1 irrespective of traveling the range of the vehicle, and to lead the oil pathway introducing working hydraulic pressure into the shift valve 120 from an oil pathway 114 which is connected with a hydraulic source of supply when a forward range is selected in a traveling range selecting means.
