PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and convenient method for molding hollow or solid FRP moldings with both inside and outside surfaces having good accuracy. SOLUTION: The method for fabricating hollow or solid moldings, comprises, on fabricating the hollow or solid FRP moldings using a mold which consists of an upper mold, a lower mold and a core, clamping the core made of a rolled/laminated prepreg by the upper mold and the bottom mold remaining a part for pushing by the upper mold and lower mold, a gap of, for example, 0.2-2 mm, further arranging a heat expandable member, for example, a heat-resistant rubber as contacted with the upper mold and/or the bottom mold, fixing the mold by the outer frame through the thermal expandable member, and then heating the mold in a heating/curing oven.
