PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone which can operate an operation of a television receiver and is improved in convenience. SOLUTION: The cellular phone transmits a signal for turning the power of a home television receiver 100 on and a channel number of television broadcast wave extracted by a tuner 26 from a remote control signal transmitting part 27 when a display casing is folded at an oblong state during the viewing of television broadcast. After that, a signal for operating the operation of the home television receiver 100 is transmitted based on an operation of an exposed operation key 4. Thus, the convenience is improved since the power of the home television receiver 100 is automatically turned on by being interlocked with an operation for holding the display casing, the television broadcast of the same channel number is continuously viewed by the home television receiver 100 and the operation of the home television receiver 100 is operated by the operation of the exposed operation key 4 after that.
