PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dew condensation preventing device capable of effectively preventing dew condensation even when moisture enters an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The device has a substantially circular ventilating opening 2, as a ventilation control part, in one face of a case 1. The substantially circular ventilating opening 2 as a ventilation control part makes a difference in ability between ventilating directions. The ability to ventilate water vapor where the case 1 in a low temperature, low humidity environment is brought into a high temperature, high humidity environment is lower than the ability to ventilate water vapor where the case 1 in a high temperature, high humidity environment is brought into a low temperature, low humidity environment.
